Cookie Party!

The day after school was out for holiday break, Kueffer and his buddy,
Cole hosted a Cookie Decorating party!
It was so cute- the kiddos wore their aprons with their names and decorated cookies and 'Christmas Trees' from sugar cones.  The girls were so detailed, while the boys, well...they were 4-5 year old boys.  Let's just say, they went thru LOTS of frosting and were finished decorating in no time!
There were about 20 children, so it was a fun and rompus room...especially after LOTS of sugar!
After they had decorated cookies,
we made special gifts for them to give their mommies, grandmas, ..anyone that they wished.
In keeping with the baking theme, we cut out their hand prints and ironed them on red hot pads.
They were really cute and the children were so proud that they had a gift to give!
The party ended with everyone watching the Grinch movie...hoping to calm them down a bit after the milk and cookies. ;)

The best part of the party was that each child brought a gift to donate to Operation Breakthrough.  They really got it and enjoyed dropping off their special present.

It was a super fun (and exhausting) party...we hope that it's the start of a wonderful tradition!
