Spooky 'hood

The Dawdy's hosted a Pre Trick or Treating party on Halloween for the neighborhood + a few friends. It was so much fun and Kueffer loved playing with all of his friends...

He has become quite the 'little host' over the past few days. :)

Of course, it would be a crime to wear the same outfit to a party two days in a row, so Kueffer was dressed in his GOLFER costume complete with little clubs!

Kueffer hosted his playgroup Halloween Party this morning.

It was so much fun to see all of the littles dressed in their costumes!

Kueffer finally put on his chicken costume- just in time for pics and immediated covered it in cookie frosting and sticky fruit snacks- yuck!

It was a fun party with lots of SUGAR- great prep for the Halloween festivities tomorrow!

Wheeeee!

Kueffer and Mommy met our friends Kit and Brodie at the Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday.

It was finally a beautiful day outside and we all had a great time!

The boys really loved the haystack and slide- and it was a BIG slide!

After a rocky start with the guitar, Kueffer has now fallen in love with it! He loves to sit with Daddy and 'play' or just listen to Daddy strum while he dances and sings. It is just too cute!

Recently, Kueffer has really started to like sitting in his desk and doing 'school work'. Sometimes he will take a book or work on a puzzle. Ahh...our 'Baby Einstein'!

Funky Chicken

Kueffer went to his first Halloween party of the season on Sunday.

It was so much fun and he was definitely the cutest little goblin there! Grandma Karen, Daddy and Mommy all took turns chasing him as he worked that party- meeting everyone, playing with all of the games and trying to get inside the bounce house with the bigger kids! Not so sure about these Star Wars guys....Go Chicken GoVampire Chicken!

Kueffer was the official 'taster' . I think that he liked them!

Pumpkin Patch- Take 1

Friday, Kueffer and Mommy joined a few of the children from our playgroup at a local pumpkin patch. It was a cold and grey day, but we were up to the trip! Kueffer really liked the animals and actually got pretty close to some of them! We went on a hayride and played in the play area- okay, Kueffer went down the slide LOTS of times! We did not actually get a pumpkin though...it was really muddy and the pumpkins were all small.

Next weekend, we will try again and may actually get a pumpkin!

Yesterday was a very eventful day for Kueffer and Mommy. When we were finally home yesterday afternoon, it became even more eventful!
Let's start by saying that Kueffer LOVES to play with keys. And not 'toy' keys, but the real deal only! So, when Mommy and Kueffer arrived at home yesterday, Mommy was obviosly not thinking and handed him her keys that he had been dying to get his little fingers on the entire drive...BIG MISTAKE! While walking around the car, Mommy heard a 'click'...yes, it was the Kueffer locking the doors! He had locked himself inside the car with Mommy's keys and the house key was on there too...great. Luckily, Mommy had her cell phone in her pocket and called Daddy to come and rescue them. At first Kueffer thought it was sooo funny, but after about 15 minutes, he was ready to get out. After 20+ minutes of Mommy standing outside the window singing and playing peek a boo with K, Daddy arrived. Hurray!

Roadtrip!

Kueffer and Mommy went to visit Grandpa Bob and Grandma Mary Ann this past weekend. Kueffer loved all of the attention, of course and was especially loving his aunts! Aunt Lisa was all his on Friday and he loved it! Aunt Bobbi arrived on Saturday and was ready to spoil him!
We always love going to see family, but we have to get a little inventive on the road- looking for cows, singing and dancing, playing peek a boo, etc. Here is a photo of an exciting game of peek a boo on the road!

"Very Active Baby"

Kueffer had his 15 month check up and shots on Friday. He was so good for all of the nurses (flirted!) and Dr. E. His Ped almost always comments on what a good patient Kueffer is- just sits and lets him poke and prod with a smile, always interested in what he is doing. Kueffer is maintaining his 23 lbs and has grown to almost 33" long = 25% in weight and 90% in height! Dr E. showed Mommy the growth pattern of an active baby and Kueffer's pattern is a 'VERY ACTIVE BABY'! As if we did not already know that! Okay, Mommy even lost Kueffer in the Dr. office. While Mommy was filling out some paperwork before his shots, Kueffer noticed that the door was not completely closed and took off. As Mommy was calling for him in the hallway, Dr. E. called to her to let her know that he had him...whew! Quick little guy!

He took all of his shots pretty well...turned on the tears but they were gone before he and Mommy checked out of the office. Hopefully, no more doctor visits 'til the 18 month appointment!

Baby Genius

Mommy and Kueffer had our first 'genius bar' appointment on Monday at the Apple Store. While there, Kueffer made himself right at home.

All Aboard!

Last Friday, Kueffer's playgroup took a train ride at one of the local parks. It was so cute to see Kueffer and his little friends bundled up and ride the train. Before the ride, Kueffer had to go 'chat' with the 'engineers and conductors'...I would love to know what he was telling them!
