Fun with Aunt Bobbi and Uncle Clark

Last week, Kueffer and Mommy went on a roadtrip to visit Aunt Bobbi and Uncle Clark. Our adventure began by going to Aunt Bobbi's university and getting the VIP tour. Kueffer loved exploring the campus and got up close and personal with the bronze Hornet statues and stairways! Then we went back to Aunt Bobbi and Uncle Clark's home, stopping by Uncle Clark's elevator and seeing all of the big trucks, tractors, and even got on Uncle Clark's Harley! Once we got home, it was time to go swimming. Kueffer loves to swim and was very brave - thinking he could walk by himself into the pool- yikes, putting his face in and playing in the sprinklers! After that, the fun continued with a town parade and then the FAIR! ...more photos to come in a future blog from the fair! I don't know how Aunt Bobbi and Uncle Clark arranged it, but it was like all of the fun was scheduled just for his visit.
It was a wonderful day...thanks Aunt Bobbi and Uncle Clark! We love you!

One by One

Daddy, Mommy and Kueffer had peas the other night with dinner...and Kueffer LOVED them! He ate each pea one at a time. It was so cute, Mommy had to get a photo. Once he saw the camera, he would only take a bite when he would have his picture taken. Slowly buy surely, he finished every little bite!

This weekend, Daddy and Mommy went to visit some friends in Memphis. Kueffer spent the entire weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Kueffer and had a ball! He did not even notice that we left and we are not sure that he ever really noticed us missing! He was so busy playing with Aunt Lisa and his cousin Quinten and being 'showed off' by Grandma and Grandpa!
Mommy and Daddy could not wait to see how he would react when they walked in...would he reach for them, get so excited, etc...well, he gave them both a huge smile- only to see that same smile with Aunt Lisa walked thru the door...and he had seen her ALL WEEKEND!
On the way back home, Kueffer never went to sleep. He just kept looking at his Daddy and Mommy. He even held our fingers...he was happy to have his family back together.

We love you, you sweet little baby!

Kueffer is getting his molars! They must be pretty painful- and even though he is a tough little guy, it is rough on him. This photo was from last Friday. We were on our way to a pool party and he fell asleep- clutching his teething tabs!

What a Difference a Year Makes

I thought I'd post up 2 pics, one from last year (one of the first we have of him) and one from his 1 year birthday. He changes so quickly, and yet I can't remember what he used to look like sometimes.

Kueffer loves his morning yoga routine. Here he is demostrating down dog! Okay, so we don't do 'baby yoga' but doesn't he look like a natural? So much stress that babies need to relieve anyway, right?!

PARTY BOY!

Our 'Little Firecracker' celebrated his first birthday on Sunday

with a very fun party and Kueffer was the perfect birthday boy!

He loved all of his toys, ice cream and CAKE!

Mommy made sure that everyone in the neighborhood knew it was Kueffer's birthday !

Our One Year Old Baby

It's hard to believe that Kueffer turned 1 on Sunday.

This year has been the most challenging and fulfilling ever and we have loved it more each day.
