Christmas 2009- Part 1

Whew, this holiday season was a whirlwind and Kueffer was right in the middle of ALL the action! The Dawdy's were a busy crew, so I am dividing our holiday fun into a series. There was so much fun, family, etc that one post just will not do. Let's begin...

Daddy, Mommy and Kueffer had planned to leave for Grandpa and Grandma Kueffer's on Christmas Day...a fun filled Christmas Eve delivering gifts to friends and family, Christmas Eve service at church, nice family dinner and then SANTA! Well, 'Old Man Winter' had other plans, so we made some quick deliveries, packed the car, and hit the road before the Blizzard of 2009 hit KC! **Since we packed so quickly, some of the gifts- sorry, Aunt Lisa- were pretty close to a very awake little boy on the car ride home. Think of that extra Wheat Thin in your package as something 'special' from Kueffer.**Although unexpected, we were all happy to get to Papa and Grandma's early and start the celebrating. Cousins Brock and Quinten were anxious to see us- okay, anxious to see Kueffer, and came over Christmas Eve night. The boys had so much fun together!

K felt pretty special when his two 'big' cousins came to see him instead of hanging out with their friends that night! :)

Christmas morning, we went to Uncle Darryl and Aunt Lisa's to see what Santa had left Brock and Quinten...and, of course, he had left behind a few gifts for Kueffer too!
(Actually, everywhere we went, Santa left something for Kueffer- we almost did not have room for ourselves on the trip back!)

Later Christmas Day, Uncle Clark, Aunt Bobbi and little Earl (dog) made it home...it was officially time to celebrate! We all must have been very good this year because Santa was very generous to us all. Kueffer loved all of his gifts and it was really fun watching him get into ripping each gift apart, squeal with excitement, and play with all of his new toys and boxes, of course!

(This is not one of Kueffer's gifts, but a dog toy. He was not discriminating what was his and what was someone else's.)

Daddy was such a good sport. He played with all of the little ones at the Kueffer Family party!

To be continued...
