Snack Trap

Yesterday the UPS man delivered something that Mommy had been waiting for ...the SNACK TRAP! This amazing invention would help keep Kueffer's snacks in the bowl and off of the floor...or so she thought.

As soon as it arrived, it was washed and Mommy showed Kueffer how to reach in and grab the snacks- seemed so easy. Well, a bit too easy for Kueffer...he found an alternative to getting snacks out. AND he thought his way was much more fun! In a matter of seconds, he had totally 'untrapped' his snacks. Ugh- all of the hope and promise of a less messy house disappeared!

Meet me in Lawrence!

Last week Kueffer, Daddy and Mommy went to Lawrence to meet AUNT BOBBI! Kueffer loves his Aunt Bobbi and it had been a couple of weeks (yikes) since we had seen her. We had a great time shopping and dining on Mass. Street- Kueffer tried cheese quesadillas and slider burgers and LOVED them! It was a wonderful afternoon...thanks for meeting us, Bobbi!

Ah, poor Lucy. Kueffer loves her so much. His little face lights up each time he sees her. It has taken a while, but I suppose she has realized that this little guy is going to stay around. Last week, she finally decided to be still so that he could 'pet' her... Kueffer and Mommy have been practicing 'gently petting' Lucy, but it usually results in an overzealous grab at her! Kueffer is catching on and Lucy has been so patient with him. I think that this is just the start of a wonderful friendship!

Messy Monday!

Kueffer IS a mess and loves to make them as well! Mommy and Kueffer had a very busy day today and made lots of messes. For lunch, Kueffer shared his 1st sugar free popsicle with Mommy and wore most of it. Once he was changed and downstairs playing, he discovered his puffs and ...dumped them all! Here are a few photos of Kueffer enjoying his treat and eventually 'eating' the lid!

Cutest Easter Bunny

What a weekend! Kueffer had a wonderful first Easter at Grandpa and Grandma's. Even though those pesky ear infections won't go away, he was a sweet as always. The Easter Bunny was very good to Kueffer and he enjoyed playing with all of his new toys.

The Masters

Kueffer is so excited to watch The Masters this weekend with Daddy!...don't you think his outfit looks like something Ian Poulter would wear?!

Mall Bunny

Today, Kueffer and Mommy went to the mall to visit the 'Easter Bunny'. Mommy had a foolproof plan to arrive right after the bunny's lunch break so that they could be first in line! So at the top of the hour, the Bunny hopped out to the adoring or 'too young to know better' crowd! As you can see, Kueffer was a bit less than impressed. I think he knew that this was a phony!

9 months old! (gulp!)

Kueffer is 9 months old and Mommy and Daddy can not believe it! We never imagined how much joy he would bring to us and how much sleep would be taken away...we are lovin' every minute!

Kueffer's (Almost) First Easter Egg Hunt!

Kueffer attended his first Easter Egg Hunt this weekend...well, almost attended. He actually napped thru the egg hunt, but was up for the party afterward! We arrived fashionably late (is there any other way?)...and in time to meet the 'Easter Bunny'!

As you can see, he was quite taken with 'her'!

Busy Week

Wow, Kueffer has had a very busy and very exciting week. He went to visit Grandma Mary Ann and Grandpa Bob! He had a great time. Mommy, Grandma, and Kueffer also spent an afternoon visiting his Great Grandma Opal. He had not seen her since Christmas, so he had to show off some of his new tricks! They had a great time 'talking' and snuggling.

While visiting, Kueffer went to church with Grandma and Grandpa. He was wonderful! Everyone was very impressed with his 'range' from cooing to growling during the service!


Kueffer and Grandma read books and snuggled. Of course, Grandma had to do some shopping for him while we were there too! He is showing Grandpa his new golf club below. Grandpa was very impressed!

We had a wonderful time and can't wait to see everyone again soon!
